Well no matter how long the trip takes it always ruins the whole day mostly because there isn't enough left of it to to anything, so today, I'm going to post enough dragons for the whole week.
Now if I miss a day , no-one will be uppset.

I reside In a small but old community built it the hey-day of the Erie canal about the same time as Lockport, Brockport, Middleport, Holley, and a bunch of other canalside towns. This one, happened to be in the heart of quarry country where sand stone was mined. I have included some landmark structures from that time that may be of interest !

To those of you I owe an apology; I am sorry. I think I've been off my Xanga for about two weeks ! They have not been good !
Thanks to Xanga I have befriended a wonderful young man and his girl friend in Singapore. As it happens !? This is a testing cycle in their educational system. It certainly has been testing my fibre. We chatted daily until he was called away. Nearly at the end of this period, he fell from a tree and broke an arm, while displaying his leardership abilities.
Poor guy he'll have to go from typing 170 WPM, To typing more like me ! For now he is
in hospital, but, he's young, and will heal in no time..
Another young man just graduated Valedictorian from HS in California. appearently I was not the only individual to take an interest in this bright young man. I mentioned him to a Xangan I brought with me,and she told me she had just read or heard of a Valedictorian, deported back to Mexico.... Guess who ?!! They can't take that back ! I'm glad he got to leave with the education. 
Another friend of my site was promised a dagon a day. I have been a little out of it of late, but haven't forgotten, so if you look closely you may find a dragon here and there!!
One more brief thought ! Yesterday as I was walking out of my front door, camera in hand, I noticed a Monarch butterfly on the only plant they lay eggs on at the edge of my yard a (milk weed).. And thought of my very good friend priorities. I still haven't figured out how to retrieve the photos from the Kodak camera. But when I do YOU'LL KNOW !!

I have been collecting Dragons for some time now and enjoy sharing my collection with others that share my enthusiasm. I promissed him one a day so I don't run out too soon.
